Frequently Asked Questions

  • As you might guess: it depends!

Historically our lead time has ranged from 3 to 6 months.

To know what our lead time is currently, please submit a web request, or call Gabbi at (314) 604-3633.

  • We deliver and setup all furniture ourselves. The top and base are typically brought in separate and attached once inside the home. (Unless you have double doors, which we love!)

Pick up is also available for smaller tables if customer has the means to transport themselves.

The delivery fee is typically between $150 and $300 and is based on the following formulas:

    • Standard thickness tables: $70 + $4/sq.ft. + $3/mile

    • Extra thick tables: $70 + $6/sq.ft. + $3/mile

  • All furniture orders require a flat $500 deposit upon signature. The remainder is due upon delivery.

Deposits may be made via check or credit card.

Final payments may be made the same way. Please note: final payments made via credit card carry a 3% transaction fee. (No fee for deposits.)

If paying via check, please make payable to “Saint Louis Tables.”

  • Not really (space at the shop is a little tight).

But we do have the following:

    • Lots of wood samples showing different species and finish options

    • Other display items like table legs, shop tables, tabletop samples, different edge profiles, etc.

  • All tables are built to order.

  • Yes! It’s often a lot of fun for current customers to stop by and take a look as their table is being made.

  • It varies depending on size and style, but it’s usually about 2 to 3 weeks.

    • Week 1: lumber selection, component construction, initial dimensioning and surfacing, final dimensioning, assembly and final surfacing.

    • Week 2: finish application (requires multiple coats if using varnish) and cure-time (the table is totally finished, but we have to wait for the topcoat to fully harden).

    • Week 3: cure time continued (varies depending on type of finish, but is typically 7-10 days).
